Chelo Kebab Betarati is one of the oldest restaurants in Tehran.
This restaurant was opened in 1290 (more than a century ago) under the management of Haj Ali Akbar Betarati in the Qavam-e-Dowleh Bazaar and around Shahpour Square.
As the name of the restaurant suggests, the restaurant’s main dish is various types of kebab.
But along with that, other traditional dishes such as Chelo Khorsht and Ta Chin are also served in this restaurant.
This restaurant has many branches throughout the city, and in this article, we will examine the Vahdat-e-Islami, Saadat Abad, Bamland, and Dolat branches separately.

This branch was established in 1290 with 16 workers and quickly became known in the city due to the good quality of its food.
In the 40s and 50s, restaurant managers had created conditions for customers to visit the restaurant’s kitchen to reassure themselves about the cleanliness and hygiene of the environment.
The Vahdat Eslami branch has a simple building and a large space, and everything is served in the traditional way, even using steel utensils to serve food.
On weekdays, the restaurant has a slightly masculine atmosphere because most local businessmen go to this restaurant for lunch.

The second branch of Chalo Kebab Behtarati was opened in Saadat Abad, Tehran in 1378.
This branch of Behtarati Restaurant is located on the top floor of the Toos Commercial Complex.
The Saadat Abad branch is very spacious and large and has a beautiful view of the Saadat Abad area of Tehran.
The interior decoration of the Saadat Abad branch of Behtarati Restaurant is a little more elegant and modern.
