Imamzadeh Saleh

Imamzadeh Saleh (AS) is one of the most famous and renowned Imamzadehs of Iran and a descendant of Imam Musa Kazem (AS), located in the pleasant Tajrish region in northern Tehran. This blessed shrine, with its turquoise dome and stunning tilework, has been a haven for lovers and a pilgrimage site for countless pilgrims from all over the country for many years.
The Imamzadeh Saleh compound is a fusion of the spirituality and beauty of Iranian-Islamic architecture; the azure tilework, Quranic inscriptions, and the shining mirrorwork of the shrine create a spiritual and heartwarming atmosphere. In the courtyard of the shrine, pilgrims take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city in silence and respect and experience pure moments of peace and prayer.
This shrine is located in one of the busiest and liveliest areas of Tehran, Tajrish Square, and its proximity to the traditional Tajrish Bazaar has given it a special atmosphere. After the pilgrimage, many people walk through the old alleys around, shop in the colorful bazaar, and experience the traditional and heartwarming atmosphere by drinking hot tea or eating local stew.
During religious days and special occasions such as the months of Muharram and Ramadan, Imamzadeh Saleh takes on a more spiritual atmosphere; its courtyard and courtyard are decorated with colorful flags and lights, and the sounds of prayers and recitations resonate in the air.
Imamzadeh Saleh (AS) is more than a shrine; it is a symbol of faith, peace, and the connection between tradition and urban life — a place where pilgrims find a moment of heavenly peace in the heart of the most vibrant part of Tehran.
