Introduction:
Azam Biryani started its business in 1295 AH with the efforts of the late Pahlavan Ali Akhavan and his father Abdul Karim Akhavan in the old Bazarcheh-e-No neighborhood of Isfahan (the beginning of the current Taleghani Street). According to surveys, this restaurant still serves the best biryani.
This traditional and wonderful dish is made from mutton or lamb and is usually served with fresh taftoon or Sangak bread.
