Khorramabad Traditional Bazaar

Khorramabad Traditional Bazaar is one of the most well-known markets and a place to meet people’s daily needs, dating back to the Qajar era.
Introduction:
Khorramabad Traditional Bazaar is a covered market built in the style of the markets of Tabriz, Isfahan, Yazd and Tehran.
This market has an area of about 2130 square meters.
The market has two dome-shaped entrances in the northern and eastern parts of the building.
It is interesting to know that this market was initially used as a caravanserai and a place for riders to rest.
However, in 1301 AH, when the traffic with horses and other animals decreased, a person named Mirza Seyed Reza built the market building and then turned it into the Khorramabad Goldsmiths’ Market.
Well, currently, in addition to the goldsmiths’ guild, other guilds are also present in the market to meet people’s daily needs.
This market is a good place to shop and get acquainted with the culture of the Lor people.
