Ramsar

Ramsar Age Waterfall

The Ij Ramsar waterfall, also known as the Deh Qlo waterfall, was created by the melting of snow on Mount Khams Chal and pouring it into the depths of the valley.

Introduction:
The Ij Ramsar waterfall is located in a village of the same name.
This village has a pleasant climate and dense vegetation.
Some believe that the word Ij is derived from the word Iraj, meaning Aryan land.
The village of Ij is located 130 kilometers from Ramsar and has a population of about 500 people.
This village has become a tourist area due to its high mountains, rivers, springs, cherry and hazelnut orchards, and most importantly, the Ij waterfall.
The most important feature of this waterfall is the caves that have formed under its rocks, adding to its beauty.
The view of this waterfall leads to the beautiful Eshkvar Valley and the permanent glaciers of Mount Khams Chal.
These glaciers have caused the waterfall to remain roaring and full of water throughout the year.
Numerous rocks located on the path that the melted waters of these glaciers travel have caused numerous waterfalls to be created, hence it is also called Deh Qloo Waterfall.
