Imamzadeh Agha Pela Seyyed and Agha Basmal Ramsar
Introduction:
The shrines of Imamzadeh Agha Pela Seyyed and Agha Basmal are located 5 kilometers from Ramsar and at the foot of the Alborz mountain range.
The Sadat of Ramsar are divided into two clans, the Hussaini and Hassani, both of which trace their lineage to Imamzadeh Pela Seyyed.
Agha Seyyed Ali, known as Pela Seyyed, passed away in the year 940 AH in the Javaherdeh countryside.
He willed that his burial place be in the Sadat area of the city.
The word “Pela” means great in the local language.
The people of the region, who considered him great and their father, chose this name for him.
Seyyed Mohammad, nicknamed Mirza Agha and with the poetic pen name “Agha Basmal”, is a descendant of Agha Pela Seyyed.
Both loved ones are buried next to each other, decorated with a beautiful metal shrine and located in an open space.
The building of the mausoleum has a pyramid-shaped dome that was completely renovated in 2004.
The facade of the building is made of stone and the interior is decorated with stonework and poems with the names of the twelve Imams up to the floor of the window.
The popularity of these shrines has caused locals and tourists to always visit this place for pilgrimage and worship.
So that on the day of Ashura, about 5 thousand people mourn at the shrine of these shrines.
On other special days, such as holidays, cultural programs are also held at this place.
