Bahram Fire Temple, Hamadan

The ruins of the Sassanid period building called Khosrow’s Kitchen remain on the slopes of Mount Alvand near the Ganjnameh Valley, which is believed to be attributed to the time of Khosrow Parviz Shahryar Sassanid (590-627 AD). This place is also known as the Bahram Fire Temple of Hamadan.

Introduction:
The Ganjnameh inscriptions, Ganjnameh waterfall are located in the vicinity of the Bahram Fire Temple of Hamadan.
The huge stones of this building, made of 30 x 30 cm bricks, can be seen from a distance.
The foundations of the walls and the building are also made of stones that are present in the place, with a large width and firmly bonded with mortar, and can be seen in the corners and around.
Now, at the top of the mountain ridge, which is part of the highest point of the current ruined building, there is a huge piece of stone in which traces of carved steps remain.
In part of it, a pit with a diameter of less than one meter and a depth of about half a meter has been dug into the rock in the form of a cylindrical container, and it seems that it was either a place for a fire or a water reservoir, or something else.
Unfortunately, there is no information or photos about this place.
