Vakil Zoo, Mashhad

Vakilabad Zoo was built in 1970 at the entrance to Vakilabad Park in Mashhad. This zoo has the largest number of animal species. All kinds of aquatic animals, birds, reptiles, etc. can be found in this zoo. This zoo was sealed in 2018 for some reason, but after 2 months it started working again and is currently hosting tourists.

Introduction:
This zoo has about 125 species of animals, including birds, rodents, reptiles and mammals.
In addition to the species mentioned, endangered animals or animals resulting from the mating of a male tiger and a female lion (tiger lion) are also found in this zoo.
There is also a section called a museum in this zoo where some taxidermied animals are kept and displayed to the public.
Examples of animals kept in this zoo include crocodiles, pigs, chamois, lions, tigers, boars, snakes, lynxes, pigs, etc.
Also, animals such as Bengal tigers, Indonesian tigers, African leopards, and llamas (a type of camel) are kept exclusively in this zoo and shown to visitors.
