Haji Bazaar, Shiraz

Haji Bazaar is one of the oldest bazaars in Shiraz and even Iran, with a history of about 1000 years, built on the orders of Qavam al-Din Hassan.
Introduction:
Haji Bazaar is located northeast of the Grand Mosque of Shiraz.
It is said to date back to the Deylamid period.
In this bazaar, goods such as local and traditional clothes, chests, sewing supplies, various types of cashmere and dried fruits are sold.
The combination of traditional colored fabrics, historical architecture and the dome-shaped roof of the bazaar have all contributed to its unique beauty.
Throughout history, this bazaar has witnessed events such as the Portuguese occupation, the passage of Allied soldiers, etc.
The domed architectural style of the bazaar has caused the air inside it to be between 5 and 10 degrees cooler than outside.
Currently, after being renovated, the bazaar has experienced a revival and is very popular in the field of fabrics, handicrafts and cashmere.
