History:
The origin of the name of the village of Javaherdeh has different stories.
Some believe that its name was initially “Jordeh” meaning “upper village” which gradually changed to Javaherdeh.
Some say that the first ruler of this region was a woman named Javaher, from whom the name of the village originated.
However, researchers believe that the ancient Zoroastrian custom of burying the dead with ornaments and jewelry was common in this region and that it was named Javaherdeh due to the valuable artifacts found in this village.
