The Kish Native Anthropology House is located in the oldest neighborhood of the island, Old Safin, about 200 years ago.
This house is built on a land area of 1,200 square meters and has 15 rooms and two courtyards and a family courtyard.
The architectural style of this building is completely indigenous.
This house introduces the history, culture, customs, livelihoods and unique handicrafts of the natives of Kish.
Its creation aims to create employment for the natives of the region and achieve sustainable tourism development for the island of Kish.
This house is a symbol of the originality of the hospitality of the people of Kish.
The original owner of the house, the late Haj Abdullah bin Shahin, is a famous and beloved figure of Kish for the past 80 years.
He was a pearl merchant and owner of one of the largest sailing ships of the time, who was also skilled in carpentry and galley construction, and he had inherited this house from three generations before him.
The Anthropology House has a special status and place for the natives of the previous generation of the island, especially the residents of old Safin.
Most of the natives went to school here and learned the Quran there, in fact, this house served as the school of the Safin neighborhood.
The main purpose of establishing this Anthropology House is to provide an authentic and traditional space to introduce the natives and their activities in the past to tourists and guests.
