Arjan Plain, Shiraz

Dasht-e Arjan is a lush village in the southern Zagros highlands, located between Shiraz and Kazerun.

Introduction:
Dasht-e Arjan is located 60 kilometers from Shiraz towards Kazerun.
This beautiful plain is located in a village of the same name, which has a population of about 2,400 people.
This resort is located in the heart of nature and the Zagros mountain range, which has a great diversity of flora and fauna.
A waterfall called Arjan is located 5 kilometers from this plain, which the locals know as Cherab Waterfall.
Lake Arjan is also in this area and is considered a habitat for migratory birds.
In the warm seasons, nomads camp around this plain, and you can socialize with them without disturbing them.
In the past, the Iranian lion lived in this area, but unfortunately its species has become extinct.
Currently, the Iranian goat, leopard, and yellow deer live in the Arjan Plain protected area.
From mid-April to mid-May, red tulips bloom and multiply the beauty of the plain.
Around this plain, there are restaurants where you can visit for meals.
Some restaurants are located next to the waterfall, which multiplies the pleasure of eating.
There are also local markets in this place that sell a variety of local foods.
These foods include artichoke, lavash, ghare qoroot, mountain almonds, and more.
