Qalat village, Shiraz

Qalat village is located 36 kilometers northwest of Shiraz. This beautiful village with thousands of years old trees and a church in the heart of the mountain attracts many tourists.

Qalat village of Shiraz is located 36 kilometers from this city and is 2065 meters above sea level.
This village has a population of about 7 thousand people.
Most of the people of the village are engaged in gardening, animal husbandry and handicraft production.
Among the village’s garden products are walnuts, grapes, figs, almonds, pomegranates, apricots and plums.
Among the village’s dairy products are milk, butter, cheese and curd.
The village’s handicrafts are also various types of givenh, musk, handmade baskets and wooden items.
The terraced houses in the winding alleys of the village have added more beauty to its appearance.
These houses are made of materials such as stone, cement, iron and brick.

Access road: 18 km after the Shiraz-Sepidan highway, the asphalt road to Qalat village is located. From the beginning to the middle of the village, there is also a paved road.
