  • It was built during the Sasanian period. There are also remains from the Parthian period in it.

Architecture:

  • The lack of maintenance and restoration of this castle due to poor management and the hardships of the times has caused this castle to become a warehouse.

  • The walls of this castle are made of brick and mud.
  • Old tombstones can be seen in the corners of this castle, some of which are a hundred years old.
  • Names such as Farmanfarma and Mostofi, etc. can be seen on the stones.
  • It is said that the founder of the Al-Ziyar dynasty, named “Mardavij Ziari”, was buried in this castle.
  • But there is no trace of his tomb in this place.
  • Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, this castle was used as a gunpowder factory.
  • After the death of its owner, the castle was included in the endowments of Astaneh Abdolazim Hassan.
  • In order for the Cultural Heritage Organization to reconstruct this castle, the Hazrat School must agree to implement this plan so that the general public can visit it by changing the use of the castle to “cultural”.
