Shariati Park, Khorramabad

Shariati Park in Khorramabad is one of the city’s recreational places, located at the entrance to the city.

Introduction:
Shariati Park in Khorramabad was designed and built in 1967 by the then mayor – Ali Shariati Moghadam.
There is a waterfall in this park that has doubled its beauty and attractiveness.
Also, holding an exhibition of arts and crafts of Lorestan province during Nowruz welcomes tourists and citizens.
Many tourists visit this park to stay and spend their free time and benefit from its amenities and recreational facilities.
Unfortunately, at the beginning of 2019, a number of trees in this park were cut down by some profiteers and transferred to the furniture manufacturing town. It is hoped that with the follow-up work done, we will not witness such incidents again.
